Sewer and Culvert Surveys
These surveys involve deeper, longer and larger conduits than drains. The larger and more complex the drainage system the greater expertise and care needed.
Deep surveys require working safely in confined spaces. Confined Spaces can be defined as spaces with risks of dangerous fumes or gases, or lack of oxygen. Only Competent Persons should manage and supervise work in confined spaces and Free Flow has the necessary skills, training and experience for this potentially dangerous work.
Surveys of this nature require Risk Assessments in advance of any work to mitigate against any potential dangers.
These Assessments then input to the Method Statements needed to prescribe the work content and approach.
Model forms of contract have been prepared for standard use in the industry, primarily for the Water Industry for both Manhole Investigations and Camera Surveys.
Free Flow can offer bespoke survey formats in a responsive manner. Our objective is to demystify technical jargon so that managers and decision makers can understand the nature and scale of defects to enable informed investment decisions to be made.
